I dont get many problems with Steam, however when I do, I usually share on my blog, and the solution or work around; this one “Error verifying STEAM UserID ticket” is pretty easy to take care of.
Simply open up my computer, go to
C:\Program Files\Steam\
Remove ClientRegistry.blob
Sometimes this error comes up because you signed into steam at a friends place and forgot to sign out. However beyond that I’m not to sure. This also fixes the platform error problem other people got in the past.
